Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and LumenCairn, LLC, doing business as Rinkaura ("Rinkaura," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Rinkaura, you agree to these Terms.

Age and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Rinkaura account. Minors may not create accounts. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Adults may use Family Profiles to store limited skating information for household members. Family Profiles are not child accounts or public player profiles.

What Rinkaura provides

Rinkaura helps people discover rinks, programs, organizations, teams, leagues, sessions, events, and skating information. Information may come from rinks, organizations, public sources, community submissions, or automated assistance. Schedules, prices, eligibility, registration status, and other details can change without notice.

Always confirm important information directly with the rink, league, team, program, or organizer before traveling, paying, registering, or participating.

Safety

Skating and hockey involve risks. Rinkaura does not operate rinks, supervise activities, provide coaching, inspect facilities or equipment, or guarantee ice quality or availability. You are responsible for using appropriate judgment, supervision, protective equipment, and following facility and governing-body rules. Rinkaura content is informational and is not medical, safety, or professional advice.

Teams and coordination

Use team claims, opponent searches, messages, requests, and coordination tools only for legitimate activity. You may not impersonate an organization, misrepresent your authority, harass others, disclose private contact information without permission, or use youth or high-school listings to contact minors. Youth and high-school content is provided for adult-managed discovery.

Community rules

You must follow the Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms. Do not post or transmit unlawful, threatening, hateful, deceptive, infringing, spammy, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or unsafe content. Reviews and corrections must reflect genuine experiences or good-faith evidence.

AI-assisted information

Automated or AI-assisted suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm schedules, safety information, eligibility, costs, and other important details with the relevant provider.

Subscriptions

Rinkaura may offer free and paid features. The no-card Pro trial does not automatically charge and simply ends unless you separately start a paid subscription.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the price and monthly or annual cadence disclosed immediately before checkout until canceled. You must affirmatively accept the recurring-charge disclosure before payment. The Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Terms are incorporated into these Terms.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Rinkaura a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and promote the relevant Rinkaura feature. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.

Enforcement and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, threatens safety or privacy, misuses the service, infringes rights, or creates legal or security risk. You may stop using Rinkaura and request account deletion at any time.

Third-party services

Rinkaura may link to third-party websites and services. They are controlled by their own operators and terms. Rinkaura is not responsible for third-party services or transactions.

Disclaimers and limits

Rinkaura is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that every listing, schedule, recommendation, or feature will be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, LumenCairn, LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by third-party rink or organization information. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective version will appear in the Legal Center. If a change materially affects user obligations or requires renewed agreement, we will provide notice and request acceptance before continued use.
